About

Intimate cinema rooted in diaspora, memory, and sound.

Hesou Zetelian is a Lebanese Armenian filmmaker, producer, and sound designer based in Los Angeles whose work explores the spaces between memory, migration, and identity. Having grown up between Canada and Spain, his transnational upbringing deeply informs his perspective on diaspora, belonging, and cultural inheritance.

Drawing from a background in theater, music, and sound design, Zetelian approaches filmmaking through sonic storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional realism. His work often examines how heritage shapes personal and familial relationships across generations, blending intimate human drama with surrealistic and visually expressive representations of culture, memory, and identity.
